Sandy Spencer - chief operating officer
Sandy joined the Trust as chief operating officer for an initial six month period on November 1, 2008.
She reports to chief executive
Hayden Newton and is responsible for handling the day-to-day operations
of the Trust.
After graduating from Leeds University, she began her clinical career in the NHS mainly in cardiac and intensive care, before undertaking various management roles, including operations director of corporate affairs and communications, in Bristol. Most recently Sandy was director of operations at Queen Mary’s Hospital in Kent.
Sandy has a son and a daughter both at university and lives in Putney in London.
