Staff in the press offices at Norwich, Chelmsford and Bedford deal with all enquiries from the media and keep the public and stakeholders informed of the work of our staff.
Our communications team deals with both internal and external communications.
Our aim is to proactively issue press releases to ensure accurate information about the changing role of ambulance services is brought to the public eye. We also assist journalists who contact us wanting information, photographs or interviews relating to our activities, and we always endeavour to respond to each individual enquiry as quickly as possible.
We also write, compile and publish communications within the organisation, such as Focus East, our weekly staff newsletter, Eastern Eye, our quarterly service magazine, and our annual report.
The communications team is also responsible for a variety of other projects, such as updating the content of this website and our intranet site, planning and launching campaigns and increasing our role in public health education.
